JAC Recruitment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") has established these Terms of Use regarding the use of its official social media pages (hereinafter referred to as "Company Social Media Pages"). All individuals are required to comply with the provisions outlined in these Terms of Use when using the Company Social Media Pages.

Article 1: Scope of application

  1. These Terms of Use apply to all individuals who use the Company Social Media Pages (hereinafter referred to as "Users").
  2. By using the Company Social Media Pages, Users are deemed to have agreed to these terms of use.

Article 2: Access to Basic Information

The Company may access publicly available information on users’ social media pages, including profiles, posts, comments, photos, follower lists, and friend lists.
By making such information publicly accessible, users are deemed to have consented to the Company’s access to that information.

Article 3: Prohibited matters

To maintain a positive relationship with users, the Company prohibits the following actions in addition to those outlined elsewhere in these Terms:

  1. Infringing or potentially infringing on the rights or interests of other users, third parties, job seekers, the Company, or its partner companies (including ones to which JAC outsources parts of its business), including trademarks, copyrights, privacy, and other intellectual property rights.
  2. Defaming, insulting, harassing, or causing harm or disadvantage to individuals or organizations including users, third parties, the Company, partner companies and their employees, or job seekers.
  3. Engaging in behavior that are contrary to public order and morals, or that violate laws, regulations, or ordinances.
  4. Posting content that has been ordered for removal by a government agency or public institution based on legal grounds.
  5. Submitting false information when using the Company Social Media Pages.
  6. Fraudulently using email addresses, names, or other personal information of other users, third parties, the Company, partner companies, job seekers, among others.
  7. Using the Company Social Media Pages for business, commercial solicitation, political or religious promotion, or related activities.
  8. Impersonating a third party, including our company.
  9. Posting links that may compromise the clarity or accuracy of the Company’s communications.
  10. Engaging in activities prohibited by social media operating companies.
  11. Any action that may interfere with the operation of the Company Social Media Pages or hinder the provision of services.
  12. Any other behavior that the Company deems inappropriate.

Article 4: Handling of intellectual property rights

  1. Copyright and other intellectual property rights for user-generated content remain with the original poster. However, by posting, Users grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the content (including editing, excerpting, reproducing, publishing, translating, etc.), and agree not to assert intellectual property rights against the Company.
  2. Users may not use any content provided through the Company Social Media Pages beyond personal use or the scope explicitly permitted by law or platform functionality (e.g., reproducing, modifying, distributing, licensing, selling, or publishing).
  3. If a User violates this article and a dispute arises with a rights holder or third party, the User must resolve the issue at their own expense and responsibility, without causing any inconvenience or damage to the Company.

Article 5: Handling of comments and other content

The Company may hide (partly or completely), delete, reject, or take similar actions on comments that are unrelated to its posts or fall under the following categories, without prior notice to the poster:

  1. Anything that violates or may violate laws and regulations.
  2. Anything that violates public order and morals.
  3. Anything that encourages criminal activity.
  4. Anything that slanders or damages the credibility of a specific individual, company, organization, etc.
  5. Anything that violates privacy, such as disclosing or leaking personal information without the individual's consent.
  6. Anything that discriminates or promotes discrimination based on ethnicity, race, gender, age, or other similar attributes.
  7. Anything that infringes on third party's rights such as patent, design, copyright, trademark, portrait rights, etc.
  8. Anything that promotes business, political, religious, or other commercial activities.
  9. Anything that contains false or significantly different content from the facts, or that causes misunderstandings to third parties.
  10. Anything that uses or provides harmful software.
  11. Identical or similar comments posted repeatedly by the same user.
  12. Anything that violates the terms of use of the company that operates the relevant social media.
  13. Anything else that the Company deems inappropriate.

Article 6: Violation of the Terms of Use

If the Company determines that a User has violated any part of these Terms, it may take necessary actions without prior notice, including deleting posted content, blocking the User’s account, or seeking compensation for damages.

Article 7: Disclaimers

  1. All content published on the Company Social Media Pages reflects information available at the time of posting. The Company reserves the right to modify or remove any content, including names and descriptions, without prior notice. The Company is not responsible for any disadvantages or damages that may arise if posted information becomes outdated or if something is added, changed or discontinued to the content of the services.
  2. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, usefulness, or any other aspect of the information shared on its Social Media Pages. The Company accepts no liability for any losses or damages resulting from inaccurate or inappropriate content.
  3. The Company is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of external websites linked from its Social Media Pages (hereafter “Linked Sites”), including the content of those sites or how they handle personal information. If a Linked Site’s information is interrupted or discontinued without notice, and users experience delays, data loss, or other disadvantages, the Company bears no responsibility.
  4. The Company is not liable for any losses, damages, or disruptions, including but not limited to lost business opportunities, interrupted operations, or loss of business data, that may occur if users are unable to access the Company Social Media Pages.
  5. If a User causes harm or damage to another User or a third party through their use of the Company Social Media Pages, the User must resolve the issue at their own expense and responsibility. The Company will not be held liable under any circumstances.

Article 8: Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising out of or relating to the Company Social Media Pages or these Terms of Use shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.

Article 9: Handling of personal information

Any personal information provided by users through the use of the Company Social Media Pages is subject to the Company’s Privacy Policy:

Article 10: Revisions to the Terms of Use

The Company may revise these Terms of Use without obtaining the consent of the User. In such cases, the revised Terms of Use will take effect once published on the Company’s corporate website (https://corp.jac-recruitment.jp/en/) or through other means.
