ENVIRONMENTAL EFFORT
JAC Recruitment shares global concerns about the future of the environment that we live in and the effects that climate change is having on our planet.
As part of the JAC Recruitment’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, we are taking part in an ongoing re-forestation project, arranged through its South East Asian offices, to work towards a greener earth. For each permanent placement made at JAC Recruitment, we will provide funds to plant one tree, with the aim of planting 10,000 trees each year in Preservation Forests in Bali.
Supporting the “Green Bali in 2010” project, JAC Recruitment assists planting in the desolated area of Kabupaten Kintamani, once an important water source*. The rain-forest has been decreasing in Bali at a dramatic rate through both natural disaster and illegal deforestation and it is our aim to contribute to reversing this.
JAC Recruitment wishes to contribute to and promote environmental preservation on a global scale. Deforestation is said to account for one fifth of global carbon emissions, making it the largest contributing factor. We believe that tropical rainforest preservation is an essential first step in reversing the threat of climate change and working towards a cleaner earth.
